Rochon was the child of Zelma Staples as well as Samuel Staples. She was born in Torrance, Los Angeles, to Zelma Staples and Samuel Staples. Ullerup played Julia Brynn for the first time in Battlestar Galactica: The Remake in 2006 on the Sci Fi Channel. The actress played Ashley Magnus on the Sanctuary television series in its first season and the second one until it was written off. Her character was subject to heated discussion amongst people who wanted her return in future shows. But, the show was eventually removed in the year 2012. Ullerup appeared in Chesapeake Shores as Bree O'Brien. Ullerup was the character Maggie Thomas in Asteroid: Final Impact, the movie which was about the catastrophe of 2015. Ullerup was Dale Travers, a recurring role in Hallmark's Signed, Sealed, Delivered films from the year 2016 until the present.
